After an extensive review of proffessed policy intentions, I will reverse myself and offer my personal endorsement of Democratic Candidate Dennis J. Kucinich for President of the United States.

His environmental policy alone is excellent, but this candidate is on every issue statement I have so far seen solidly for human rights, civil rights, workers' rights, sound environmental and energy policy that will result in a much cleaner and more sustainable economy, support of family sustainable agriculture over industrial agricultural operations, clean water, investment in critical infrastructure, and much, much more. This is a candidate that supports a liveable world for all, and a world at peace. I strongly urge you to review his platform statements at: http://www.kucinich.us
Alternatively, you can view the ten key points of his campaign at: Ten points acrobat

Democratic Candidate Kucinich Honored in Carrboro

Carrboro celebrates Dennis Kucinich Day
By ANN S. KIM, Staff Writer
CARRBORO -- Dennis Kucinich Day was a hopeful one for hundreds of people who turned out to support the Democratic presidential candidate.
The Ohio congressman decided to stump in town after Mayor Mike Nelson declared a Kucinich day in recognition of the progressive values the candidate shares with the town.
Kucinich admitted to the crowd that, although math isn't his strongest point, he understood Sen. John Kerry of Massachusetts had enough delegates to clinch the nomination.
"I know that. I can count," Kucinich said.
But he urged voters in the states that still have primaries or caucuses to support his candidacy to move the Democratic Party in the right direction. North Carolina holds its Democratic presidential caucus April 17.
Kucinich was preaching to believers as he outlined his platform, which includes withdrawal of U.S. troops from Iraq, universal heath care, repeal of NAFTA and the establishment of a Cabinet-level Department of Peace.
"Dennis Kucinich, of all the candidates, has spoken for change in this country and for the programs that are the closest to our values," said Lori Hoyt, a member of the Carrboro gaggle of the Raging Grannies...

Kucinich draws crowd, cheers in Carrboro

CARRBORO -- Even in this giddy crowd of sun-worshipping optimists, it was hard to find anyone Sunday willing to admit that their candidate for president, Dennis Kucinich, really had a shot at the Democratic nomination.
To many attending Kucinich's afternoon campaign stop at the local farmers' market, the point was to show support.
Kucinich rolled into town to the cheers of several hundred people, many in lawn chairs enjoying the warm sun, others lolling on the grass eating picnic lunches behind the market's gazebo. It was festive, it was cheerful, and it was hopeful. His local supporters hoped the rally would help Kucinich drum up some support for the state's April 17 Democratic presidential caucus.

You wouldn't know Kucinich is last in the polls
By Dale Neal, Staff Reporter

ASHEVILLE, NC - The race for the Democratic presidential nomination may be over, but Dennis Kucinich isn't giving up his campaign yet.
The diminutive Democrat didn't take the stage Saturday morning when he arrived at City-County Plaza during a weekend sweep through North Carolina. Instead, he took the microphone and walked into the street, eye to eye with a welcoming crowd of some 500 people.
"Sen. Kerry has enough votes to win the nomination, so what are you doing, Dennis?" he asked then answered the obvious question first. "Yeah I can count."
"The direction of the Democratic nomination has been settled, but the direction of the Democratic Party is still to be decided," Kucinich told his supporters.
The Asheville rally was an effort to encourage his voters for the April 17 Democratic caucuses in North Carolina, according to Gayatri Lee, a Kucinich campaign organizer in Asheville. The more votes and delegates Kucinich can muster in the remaining primaries and caucuses will give him leverage at the Boston convention in shaping the Democratic Party platform, she said.
"We have to keep the progressive voice alive and change the Democratic Party," Lee said. "Right now we have a duopoly of political parties. Democrat and Republican parties look alike. The central issue is the corporate takeover of our democracy..."
